Republic of Paws offers shipping via the United Parcel Service and the United States Postal Service. All orders over $79.00 qualify for free shipping via USPS Priority Mail or UPS (small items may ship via First Class Mail).

All orders placed on republicofpaws.com will be processed within 48 business hours and will be shipped via the shipping method selected at checkout. Please note that some items are not available for expedited shipping such as artwork or specialty or custom items. Please check the item description for this important notice. You will be notified via email if any delays are anticipated with your order or if the shipping method you selected will change. Please provide an accurate email address to ensure timely notifications of any shipping delays or changes.

When will my order ship?
Republic of Paws is committed to shipping orders out as quickly as possible. Orders placed by 12noon EST often ship the same business day. Orders placed after 12noon EST often ship next business day. However, some items are shipped directly from distributors and manufacturers and may require added processing time. If you need to ensure expedited processing or shipping time frame, please click here to complete our online contact form and a representative will contact you to assist.

If any delays are anticipated with orders, you will be contacted via the email address provided. Please ensure that the email address you provide is valid in order to receive timely notifications.

Please use the guide below for information on approximate processing and shipping time frames for the shipping options available.

  • Flat Rate Shipping: This is our economy shipping option. Based on our order volume, orders will ship within 1-4 business days and will arrive to the ship to address within 5-8 business days. This option should only be selected if you have a flexible delivery time frame.
  • USPS Priority Mail: Orders generally ship within 48 hours and shipping takes approximately 1-3 business days.
  • UPS Ground: Orders generally ship within 24 hours and shipping takes approximately 1-5 business days.
  • UPS Standard (Canada Only): Orders generally ship within 48 hours and shipping takes approximately 2-7 business days.
  • USPS First Class International: Orders generally ship within 4 business days. Delivery time varies and can take up to 4 weeks. This option should only be selected if you have a flexible delivery time frame.
  • USPS Priority International: Orders generally ship within 4 business days. Delivery time is approximately 6-10 business days, but can vary with customs delays.
  • USPS Express International: Orders generally ship within 4 business days. Delivery time is approximately 3-5 business days, but may vary with customs delays.
  • UPS International Expedited: Orders generally ship within 48 hours and delivery time is approximately 5-8 business days. This is the most reliable international shipping option. Shipping cost does not include import duties or taxes that may be required by country of import.

Please note that if you are placing an international order, additional processing time may be required to consolidate orders for items from various locations and sources. If added processing time is needed, we will contact you by email to notify you of any delays. Please ensure that the email address you provide is correct in order to receive timely notifications.

Shipping to Canada
Republic of Paws offers shipping to Canada via the United Parcel Service or the United States Postal Service. The delivery time frame does not include any customs delays and Republic of Paws is not liable for delays caused by the customs process. Please allow additional time for such delays.

**Please note that posted shipping costs do not include C.O.D. fees or import duties that may be required by the Canadian government. As the customer, you will be responsible for any fees required upon delivery.

International Shipping
Republic of Paws can ship anywhere that the United Parcel Service or the United States Postal Service delivers. Republic of Paws provides estimates based on current UPS or USPS rates and posted delivery time frames. Republic of Paws is not responsible for any delays caused by the customs process. When shipping overseas, please allow additional time for such delays. As the customer, you are responsible for any duties or taxes required by your country of import. You may be contacted prior to delivery to coordinate payment of these fees. Please note that due to the customs process, all international sales are final. We cannot accept returns or exchanges that occur from outside the domestic United States or Canada.

Order Cancellations
Please note that our system is designed to get orders out to you as soon as possible. Many orders ship the same day that they are placed. For this reason, we cannot cancel an order once it is in the system. If you contact us prior to the shipment of your order (no more than 6 hours after your order is placed) exception to this policy may be made at the sole discretion of Republic of Paws. Return/Exchange Policy
Republic of Paws will offer a refund or exchange for items purchased through this website that are postmarked within 15 days of the shipping delivery date.

Items sent back for a return or exchange must meet the following criteria:

  • The product is unused and in original packaging and possessing all original tags (this does not include any cellophane bags items come in for shipping). Perishable products such as pet treats and spa products must be unopened/sealed to qualify.
  • The return is postmarked within 15 days of the shipping delivery date.
  • The product is free of any signs of pet hair, dander, or use. If you are returning an apparel item, please remove all pet hair that may have been transferred when trying the item on your pet. (*Please understand that many of our customers have allergies to cats and many breeds of dogs, so we must ensure that every product sold is free of hair and allergens. Current regulations also prevent the resale of used pet products due to the spread of germs and disease. Once a product has been in contact with pet hair, germs, or dander, it cannot be re-stocked with other unused products or resold as new. Please use the Sizing Guides on this website to ensure best fit prior to placing an order or contact us for assistance as we cannot provide exception to this rule.)

The consumer is responsible for all shipping costs associated with a return or exchange for any reason other than products damaged during packaging or the delivery process or delivery of incomplete or incorrect products. Manufacturer's Warranties
Republic of Paws is not responsible for any claims or statements made by the manufacturers of the products sold on this website. Any requests for a refund or exchange of a product based on a manufacturer's claim or warranty must be directed to the manufacturer via the contact information posted on the product's tag or label. If you cannot locate contact information for the manufacturer, please contact us and we will provide this information to you.

How to Make a Return

Your return will be processed within 3-4 business days of receipt. A refund for the return will be credited to the original payment method used. Refunds made to Visa, Mastercard, or Discover should reflect on the account within 48 business hours. Refunds made to American Express should reflect on the account within 7 business days. Refunds made via PayPal should reflect on the account within 24 hours.

Republic of Paws does not assess a re-stocking fee, but if your purchase qualified for free shipping and your return reduces your order total to less than our qualifying $79.00 minimum for free shipping, our flat rate shipping of $5.00 will be applied and you will receive a refund less this shipping charge.

Republic of Paws is not responsible for those items returned to any address other than the address listed above.

How to Make an Exchange
1. Ensure that all items being returned meet the above noted criteria for a return/exchange.
2. Contact us for a return authorization via our online contact form or via the email address associated with your original order receipt and indicate whether you have placed a new order or if you are requesting that new items be shipped upon receipt of the returned items.
3. Print the return authorization and include with the item(s) your are sending back for a return.

If you choose to ship items back to us prior to placing a new order, a customer service representative will contact you to verify the new items requested and to process shipping charges if they apply.

All items sent back for an exchange must meet the above noted criteria, must include a return authorization, and must be sent back to the address noted above.

Refused Orders
If an order is refused delivery by the consumer, Republic of Paws retains the right to issue a partial refund to recover the cost of processing, return shipping, and restocking fees. If the cost of the refused order exceeds the cost of the items purchased, no refund will be issued.

Damaged, Lost, or Stolen Products
If a product ordered through this website is damaged prior to delivery to you the consumer, Republic of Paws may replace the product or issue a full refund. To report a damaged product, please contact Customer Support immediately upon receipt of the item to make arrangements for a replacement or return. Damaged products must be reported within 7 business days from ship date.

If a product is lost or stolen during the delivery process, Republic of Paws may issue a replacement or refund subject to arrangements with the shipping provider and agreed upon terms. Please contact Customer Support to report a lost or stolen product within 7 business days of ship date. Orders reported lost, damaged, or stolen past 7 business days of scheduled delivery may not be eligible for a replacement or refund.
